Temple High School incoming junior Daniel Moon shot a 6-over-par 77 on Monday in the first round of the Legends Junior Tour's George Hannon Junior Invitational at University of Texas Golf Club in Austin.
Moon is tied for 26th place out of 48 players in the Boys 15-18 division after recording 12 pars and six bogeys. He's nine strokes behind Austin's Keaton Vo, who fired a 3-under 68 to build a one-shot lead over Spring's Andrew Spaulding. The second round will be played Tuesday.
